How do I use the 2020 Census in Tactician?
For all US Users.
Your 2020 Census data is available in the latest Tactician Cloud (using all major browsers and platforms) and Tactician Online (with IE). You can use both systems interchangeably.
To analyze sites, re-structure territories, and map your markets and other marketing applications:
Activate the 2020 Census
In Tactician Cloud: Click the Cog in the top bar. Select your analysis level, e.g. Block Groups (2020 Census). If you are still using Tactician Online: Click on Map under Mapping and Reporting. In the top bar, select analysis level, e.g. Block Groups (2020 Census).
To make a 2020 thematic map
In the Map Panel, go to Thematic to edit Thematic 1 (using the pencil icon). Select your geography, e.g. Block Groups (2020 Census) in Geographic Level. Next, select a 2020 Census variable from Thematic Variable. Click OK at the bottom of the panel. Make sure the variable has a check mark under Thematic 1 Color Fill. Click the Refresh icon at the top of the Map panel.
To produce a 2020 report with a map
1.
Add a site or area to the map.

In the Market Panel, select Run Reports for Markets from Menu. Select the report(s) you wish to see and click Launch Report. If you want a thematic map in your report, make the map as above before launching the report.
